Be Inspired!, Inspiration

What if you actually stuck to your new year’s resolutions?

What if you actually stuck to your new year’s resolutions? Where would you be six months from now? My resolutions were simple. Do what I’ve been doing but do it better. However, I say that every year  🙄 The whole losing weight getting in shape deal. But this time around I got some really good reasons why I should stick to them. The biggest reason is I am about to be in my mid-thirties and it becomes harder to stick to things as you get older. So if I’m gonna do something I better do it now. Especially if I am going to stick to a workout routine because it becomes harder to lose weight as you get older.

What would happen if I stuck with my fitness goals?

Where would I be a month from now? Try 3-6 months if I just set a routine and stuck to it? If I actually do what I say I’m going to do when the mood I’m in is not the same motivational mood I was in when I said it, could I do it? You’re not always going to be motivated and feel empowered, sometimes you have to actively seek out inspiration. You have to remember the big picture but at the same time just focus on the 24 hrs you have in front of you instead of all the work you have to do in the coming months. That way you don’t feel overwhelmed.

What would happen if I made blogging a habit?

Beautiful beautiful things. Anytime your creativity is placed as a priority wonderful things can happen. That is how you grow your skills and essentially how businesses and brands are built. If you have a talent hone your skills to the point that they become natural to you. If you do this, you will never be unemployed.

Self-care habits are very important

What if I mediated on a daily basis from now until December 31st? How clear my mind would be. What if I moisturized my skin daily no skipping, did yoga every day, or performed other forms of self-care? The same thing goes for maintaining your health. Let’s say I ate a cup of fruit and a cup of vegetables a day just worked it into my diet would that benefit my health a year from now?

Just do a little bit of cardio a day, your body will thank you for it.

Or you can do a little bit of weight training. I’m not the biggest fan of cardio but I know its necessary. If you’re having trouble sticking to an entire workout routine, try just committing to jumping jacks or sit-ups for now then gradually add on to it. That’s how that works it’s a gradual change. This also helps when you are trying to manage daily tasks.
